Some topics may include: Faith, Home & Family life, Art, Decorating, Photography, Collecting, Food & Entertaining, Gardening, Floral Design, Sewing, Knitting, Scrapbooking, Hair Styling, Shopping, Traveling, Writing, Singing, Dancing, Health & Wellness—whatever gives you enormous joy when you apply yourself to it.

We are seeking well-written, original articles. Submissions may be in essay form, feature article, tips, or how-to format. (Please note, these are voluntary non-paid submissions.) You benefit with visibility and exposure on the site and across our social communities online.

 
How to Submit: Send us your articles via email. Include a brief bio. If you have a website or blog, you may include these links. Feel free to send along your favorite inspirational quotes as well.

You permit us to edit for clarity and proper grammar, but do spell-check before submitting.


We will do our best to publish as many stories as possible, but please be aware that all submissions are subject to our review. If your story is not published in a given month, it could be at a later time. We look forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance for your contributions.

Garden Essays {Spring Edition}

  • Essays should be 1000 words or less.
  • Your own content.
  • All about gardens and gardening.
  • Include a short author bio (with your blog/website URL if applicable.)
  • 1-3 photos (Please do not send photos with your essay. If your essay is chosen for publication, you will be notified and request for photos will be made at that time.)

2020 Call for Submissions: Nature Poetry: God's Handiwork
Are you blessed with the gift of writing poetry and love nature? We'd love to share your poems! A Walk In The Garden Greetings is accepting inspirational poetry. The first edition theme is God's Handiwork. All around us, God's creation speaks volumes of His majesty, dominion and power. The Word of God is filled with vivid imagery of God's hand in nature. The psalmist David and others wrote expressively of nature, declaring the glory of the Lord in His universe.



Guidelines:

  • Poetry should be written from a Christian faith perspective. 
  • As stated above, the first edition theme is God's Handiwork.
  • You may submit up to 3 poems at a time.
  • Poetry must be your own original work.
  • Send via email with poems in the body of the email. (no attachments, please.)
  • Include a brief bio.

All entries are subject to review; you will be notified within 3 weeks if your work is accepted for publication on A Walk In The Garden Greetings and on www.awalkinthegarden.com.

 

  

A Walk In The Garden Greetings is seeking guest bloggers for an upcoming series on Floral Design. 

We'd love to hear from floral designers around the globe. Share your articles of interest that run the gamut of your industry. Some ideas may include:

  • DIY project with step by step instructions and photos/video
  • A post about different types of flowers
  • Seasonal Floral Design Ideas
  • Wedding Floral Design
  • Creating Beautiful Centerpieces

There is currently no limit on length of articles. We prefer posts to be as detailed as possible or short and poignant.
